Expectations

I’m looking for potential editors to help with my workload. I make roughly 15 audios a month, most 10-30 minutes long. Sometimes, I double production so I can get another month ahead as a buffer. Other times, life will get in the way and I’ll need to offload typical work to an editor to deal with it. You will be expected to -

  • Be very familiar with various types of roleplay audios.

  • Have a quiet place to edit with high-quality, closed-ear headphones.

  • Active listening. You will be expected to listen for and edit out any mistakes & background issues. This is not a podcast where you can just apply a blanket of processing effects onto an audio and hand it back. If it were that simple, I wouldn’t need help.

    • You will be given a script & the raw MP3 file. Follow the script as you edit & insert SFX where indicated by the [] in BOLD.

    • Remove any clicks, background noise, & double takes if any. (I’m looking for someone with a VERY keen ear for details like this to keep the quality of my audios high.)

    • Make sure breathing parts line up. (Don’t have 2 exhales together, etc.)

    • My lungs are kind of bad sometimes & I get air hunger, please edit out any glaringly gaspy sections, particularly inhales.

  • Process my audios in a specific way so no matter which editor edits it, my voice will sound the same.

    • I will show you my settings in Audacity & you will need to replicate them in your program. (Very basic: normalize, compressor, & noise redux.)

  • Not share, sell, or upload any audios you’ve worked on.

  • Hunt for sound effects.

    • Use only high-quality SFX or;

    • Know how to tweak SFX to get rid of the undesired. (Like white noise.)

    • Can’t find a SFX? Ask me for help.

  • Meet deadlines. (It’s discussed each time before you receive the raw audio.)

  • Communicate well. If you run into problems, don’t understand, or something prevents you from doing the work, you are expected to communicate that at your earliest opportunity. I want to set you up for success so communication is vital.

  • Open to constructive feedback & instruction. (It takes a bit to teach folks the ropes but once I know you understand what I’m asking for, I’m hands-off so you need to be self-motivated.)

  • LGBTQIA+ Friendly

  • Kink Friendly (You should be able to work on different types of audios even if it isn’t what you’re into AND do a good job.)

Payment

  • I’ll pay 2x the raw audio’s duration so a 10 min audio will net you $20 USD.

  • Payment is available through Paypal, Wise, CashApp, Venmo, etc.

  • You will send the MP3 either through email or Discord & once my proofers have given the green light, you will be paid.

    • For those I work with long term, I offer bulk payments upfront (up to $500.)

  • If there are any issues, you will be asked to fix them before payment.

Trial Period

To start, you will be on an editing trial period (paid) in which you’ll work on different types of roleplay audios to demonstrate your capabilities.

First, a short (5-10min) SFW audio w/ no SFX.

Second, a SFW audio w/ SFX.

Third, a NSFW audio w/o SFX. (Given that you’ve marked yourself comfortable w/ editing those in the form.)

Fourth, a NSFW audio w/ SFX.

Finally, you will be forever loved by Moon for making her life less stressful.
